Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Serial Number
Fender now uses the serial number on the back panel to date their amps. Unfortunately the serial# has "no meaning," and access to the database that deciphers the numbers "isn't available to thepublic."

Sounds excellent and is ready for a great new home. All electronics tested and working as they should. It cranks up loud, loUDer, and just plain LOUD! We're pretty sure this is a 2017 or 2018, but inconclusive via the serial number. The previous owner babied this amp and told us never had it above 1. A great find!
